Orbán's wife: Miss, I'm just a volunteer!

The sandbag barrier in Kismaros was completed by Wednesday. Most of the settlement is now safe, but among the settlements along the Danube, Kismaros is in a more difficult situation because it has not been able to build a permanent dam with the help of EU funding so far. The municipality has had a plan in place for the construction of flood defences since 2017, but they are unable to do it on their own and would definitely need help from the government. Hatvanpuszta, which is mentioned in the video, is a former Habsburg estate near Budapest which was established in the 19th century by Archduke Joseph Anton Johann. Its reconstruction in the past few years is estimated to have cost 30 million euros and its registered owner is Győző Orbán, the Prime Minister’s father.
