The country is rushing towards disaster with the thoughtless construction of battery factories and no one in Hungary wants war – these are some of the topics Péter Magyar covered at his Mother’s Day demonstration in Debrecen. Magyar told Telex that there were six times as many people in Debrecen on Suday as at Fidesz’s last rural event, and added that they were fighting Fidesz with their own weapons: with Hungarian flags and chants of “Ria-Ria-Hungária”.
