Viktor Orbán continues to claim that the Russians have accepted his proposal for a Christmas ceasefire, while Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office Gergely Gulyás has stated the opposite, and there is no such indication in the official Russian communication. The Hungarian Prime Minister did not comment on Vladimir Putin’s statement ruling out a peaceful settlement.
